As executive director of the National Chavez Center, Andres P. Chavez leads the arm of the Cesar Chavez Foundation that educates and promotes the legacy of his grandfather across the nation. The youngest son of Socorro and Paul Chavez, Cesar Chavez’s middle son, Andres was born and raised in the farm worker movement at its La Paz headquarters, graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Bakersfield in 2016, with a B.A. degree in Public Policy and Administration, and has spent most of his life with the movement.
